What Broke

Aleiyah Apaisa appears on Manny T's 17U Elite Queens roster at /coach, but her player profile at /players/111 says "Not assigned to a team yet" under "Team & Coach" section. The coach roster endpoint and the player profile page query team assignment differently.

Repro Steps

  1. Log in as Manny T (emmanueltabantaeoalii@gmail.com)
  2. See Aleiyah Apaisa in 17U Elite Queens roster
  3. Click into her player profile at /players/111
  4. Observe "Not assigned to a team yet" under Team & Coach section

Expected Behavior

Player profile should show team assignment consistent with what the coach roster displays.

Environment

  • Cluster/namespace: prod
  • Service: westside-landing frontend + basketball-api

Acceptance Criteria

  • Player profile shows correct team assignment when player is on a roster
  • Coach roster and player profile show consistent data
